I hate Photoshop

Just when I think I have on fancy trick figured out I get stumped by 10 more. Can anybody share a simple tip on how not to cut off all of my photos on their edges?

not if you want classic 4x6 sizing. Digi cameras just take a weird size and you have to figure out where you want to crop it, or just have a funny shaped pic. I am still trying to learn the cool tricks in Photoshop Elements, so I may not be telling the truth ... maybe just a little white lie :)
